
Bevill State Basketball Makes ACCC Playoffs
Congratulations to the Bevill State Basketball team! They have made it into the Alabama Community College Conference Playoffs. The 6th seeded Bears will face the 3rd seeded team from Enterprise State Community College on Friday, March 1 at 7 p.m. in Enterprise. If they win, the Bears continue on to play in the ACCC Tournament at Lawson State Community College in Birmingham. For more information about the tournament and the schedule, click here.
Baseball Games Cancelled Due to Weather
Due to the threat of rain in the forecast, the series against Spoon River Community College has been cancelled for both Friday, Feb. 22 and Saturday, Feb. 23.

Bevill State's Wanya King Named ACCC Player of the Week
For the second time this season, BSCC's Wanya King, a sophomore guard , has been named the Alabama Community College Conference Player of the Week. The Fort Payne, Alabama native led the Bears with 29.5 points, 5.5 rebounds with three assists and two steals while shooting 55.6% from the field and 100% from the charity stripe. Several Activities Planned for Last Basketball Home Game
Bevill State Basketball’s last home game of the season is Monday, Feb. 18 on the Jasper Campus. It features several special events, including recognition of the team’s five sophomore players. The five players - Omar Bartholomew, Chris Freeman, Wanya King, Kenton Petties, and Peyton Woods – play their last home game as a Bevill Bear. Baseball Game for Friday, February 15 Cancelled
Bevill State’s baseball game with Motlow State Community College has been cancelled for Friday, Feb. 15th due to rain in the forecast. Right now, the Saturday game is still on, but it has been rescheduled to 12:30 p.m.

Bevill State Hosts Snead State in Basketball February 14
Bevill State hosts Snead State Community College Thursday, February 14 at 7 p.m. in the Clem Gym on the Jasper Campus. General Admission is $6 and BSCC students and employees are admitted free with a Bevill State ID.

Bevill State's Walker Nolen Named ACCC Player of the Week
Bevill State's Walker Nolen has been named the Alabama Community College Conference Player of the Week for the week of February 4-10. The sophomore first baseman from Saraland, AL and Saraland HS led the Bears in hitting at .500 (6/12). Nolen added three runs scored and three doubles. Congratulations Nolen!

Bevill State Baseball Begins Season
Bevill State's Baseball Team host their first home game of the year Friday, Feb. 8 at 1 p.m. on the Fayette Campus. They will be facing Mineral Area College from Park Hills, MO in a two day series. The second game is scheduled for Saturday, the 9th at 11 a.m.

Bevill State Softball Season Begins
The BSCC Softball Team begins their season with an away game at Enterprise State Community College Feb. 5. Their first home game is Friday, Feb. 8 in Sumiton. Bears vs. Tigers in Home Game
Come see the Bears of Bevill State host the Tigers of Marion Military Institute tonight. The game starts at 7 p.m. BSCC students and employees are admitted free with a Bevill State ID. General Admission is $6, and kids 10 and under are free.
